Dos Anjos responds to McGregor's comments about his injury

Opponents set to face UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor have a tendency of pulling out of the fight. Four of McGregor’s eight UFC opponents have not made it to fight night.

McGregor took aim at lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos at the UFC 196 press conference on Wednesday after the Brazilian was forced to withdraw from their title fight with a broken foot.

“They always pull. They always run. They always make it out like they want it but really they don’t want it,” McGregor said. “I looked at the picture Dos Anjos put up and it’s a bruise. I hear ice works wonders.”

Dos Anjos wasted little time responding to McGregor on Twitter:

Why Gregor didn't pick Cerrone to fight!? He loves some out of shape with 10 days notice like Mendez. Want 2 belts? Gotta beat me
